Scorpions: Scorpions are nocturnal, and don’t come out until it’s about 60 degrees or so. There are two types of scorpions, the desert hairy scorpions aren’t very venomous their bites are as bad as a bee sting. They burn for a short period of time afterwards but it fades very quickly. They are found in large quantities out in the little valley; Washington fields area here in sat George though there are other places where they are prominent as well. They are light tannish yellowish color. Bark scorpions on the other hand are poisonous. It’s very difficult to tell the difference between the two species though, so if you have any questions kill it then bring it in for identification.
